ARTICLE WRITING COMPETITION

Criteria:

  • 25 years and above.

  • Residing in Peninsular or East Malaysia

  • Able to read and write in English

Rules:

  • All articles must be written in English

  • Topic shall not exceed 1800-2000 words

  • Each participant is allowed to make only one submission.

  • The article should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 size with double spacing.

  • Co-authorship is not permitted.

  • Participants may use any recognized style of referencing/footnoting system, and this must be used consistently & uniformly throughout the Essay.

  • Article should be the original work of the authors. Any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification.

  • All articles submitted shall be the property of Arix Academy, which reserves the right of publication of the same.

  • The decision of the organizing committee regarding the interpretation of the rules or any other matter related to the competition will be deemed final and binding.

TOPIC:

  • Digital Transformation: Many companies are undergoing digital transformations to adapt to changing business environments and customer needs. What are the ethical considerations that companies need to keep in mind when undergoing digital transformation, and how can they ensure that they are using technology in a responsible and sustainable way?

  • Leadership: How does emotional intelligence impact leadership effectiveness in a cross-cultural global business context, and what strategies can leaders use to effectively navigate cultural differences and build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds?

  • International business: In today's ever-changing global economy, international businesses are facing numerous challenges, ranging from shifting geopolitical landscapes to rapidly evolving technologies. How can businesses operating in multiple countries effectively navigate these challenges to remain competitive and achieve long-term success?

Submission guideline:

  • The name of the author should not be mentioned anywhere in the article.

  • The submission must be sent by email to mel@arixacademy.com before May 31, 2023. The subject of the email should be ‘Article writing competition – May 2023’.

  • The body of the email must specify the name of the participant, topic of the article, participants profession, age, participants residential location and contact number.

  • The submission must be attached in “.doc” or “.docx” format only.

PRIZE:

  • 1st prize   -  RM3,00.00 cash          

  • 2nd prize - RM2,000.00 cash

  • 3rd prize  - RM1,000.00 cash       

  • 4th prize  - RM500.00 cash

All winners will receive the following:

  • Winners will be entitled to a scholarship to pursue a Master of International Business program with European International University, France.

  • Winners’ article will be featured in the following month's edition of our Business Horizon® by Arix Academy magazine.

  • Top 10 articles will be published on Arix Academy website.

  • The most liked article by the readers will be awarded the reader’s choice prize.

  • Other participants shall receive a Certificate of participation
